To easily centralize your comments and conversations, you need to install a coComment component. Depending on your browser and preferences this can be either the simple extension (recommended) or a simple bookmarklet (special browser favorite).

First install,

  We highly recommend installing this extension, which will automatically activate coComment.

  After installing, please restart Mozilla Firefox.

  Features:

  • Automatically enables coComment on supported blogs (bookmarklet no longer needed)
  • Notifies you if you have new comments in 'Your conversations'

  If you see this message at the top of the page, click "Edit Options," "Allow," "Close," and click the install link again

  Instructions for Firefox

  1. Make sure the "Bookmarks Toolbar" is showing.
     

     

  2. Drag and drop this icon to your toolbar.
     (Click with your left mouse button on the icon above, move your mouse to your toolbar, and finally release the mouse button)

     

  Instructions for Safari

  1. Add this link: to your links Toolbar.
     Drag the icon above to your bookmark bar.
     (Click with your left mouse button on the icon above, move your mouse to your toolbar, and finally release the mouse button)

  1. Make sure the "Personal bar" is showing.
     (Go to the "View > Toolbars" menu and make sure "Personal bar" is checked)
  2. Right-click the icon above and choose "Bookmark link..."
  3. Mark checkbox [X] Show on personal bar

then use it

1. Enter your comment in the normal comment area on the blog page

2. a) Using the simple extension? Nothing to do :-)

   b) Using the bookmarklet? Click the coComment bookmarklet in your browser bar BEFORE submitting your comment

3. Submit the comment on the blog as usual

It's done!
